This medium-capacity suction unit is mounted on four smooth swivel castors, enabling easy maneuverability across operation theatres and patient care areas. The body is constructed from durable M.S. sheet with epoxy powder coating for corrosion resistance and long-term durability, complemented by a stainless steel top for hygienic maintenance.
The BSI-9212 delivers a strong vacuum capacity of up to -760 mmHg ±10 and is designed for higher flow performance of 40–45 liters per minute, making it suitable for intensive suction requirements. It is powered by a robust oil-immersed vacuum pump that ensures smooth, low-noise, and continuous operation.
The system includes two 1.5-liter graduated glass jars with rubber lids for safe and hygienic fluid collection. One jar is fitted with an overflow cut-off device to prevent fluid entry into the pump, protecting internal components and enhancing safety. The front control panel is equipped with a Bourdon-type vacuum gauge (0–760 mmHg & 0–30 in Hg), power switch with indicator, and vacuum control knob for precise suction regulation.
Additional convenience features include an A.C. power socket and foot pedal socket (foot pedal optional and not supplied). The unit operates on 220–240V, 50Hz AC mains supply and is supplied with a patient suction tube and electric lead.
Optional accessories such as bacterial filter, polycarbonate jars, full stainless steel body, foot pedal, and metal Yankauer suction cannula are available at extra cost.
